About Me

If I had to pick just one picture to represent me as a person, this is it. I love being a mom(most of the time), act completely crazy when my husband does the dishes wrong, need to teach myself discipline and not snack while editing, blah blah blah. In other words, I'm a hot mess...show of hands....anyone else? Great, we will get along juuuust fine. Tip me in tacos and tell me I'm pretty.

My boys, Hayden (5 almost 6) and Emerson (total threenager) are why I keep hearing someone calling "MOOOOOMMMMYYYY" three-thousand times daily, the reason I am already getting gray hairs, and the reason I love to photograph children/families. It is not something for everyone, and that is how I got my start in 2014. I purchased my first camera and took a few lessons just so I wouldn't have to pay someone to take my kids' photos (yes I am cheap, ask my husband...except when it comes to Target) anyways... I didn't get serious until 2017 and here I am 3 years later, with a ton of people now in my extended family (yup, I mean you too...all my clients become family!).

For those of you who don't yet know me, my dad had the coolest job ever, he was the Chef on Air Force One (yes, that plane). He taught me how to cook from a very young age and I fell in love. A little over a year ago, I fell into an Uber Eats job posting that was for Food Photographers...sounds like a dream job right? Well, long story short, I got the job and voila! I became a Food Photographer. I absolutely LOVE doing it. I now work for an interational company as a Chef Requistion Specialist (I get paid to photograph/eat their food then judge them) and have had to further my learning through this endeavor. It has seriously been a ride and I enjoy every second.

I have always been an "everything" photographer, and will continue to do so as requested, but this year I am shifting my focus to Weddings! I hope you will help spread the word- I have started doing floral design and coordination in addition to photography...holla!
